The mission of the FRIENDS of the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy is to invest in and empower endangered young men, in order to develop leaders and role models for our community.

Our community will benefit from supporting young men like senior, Isaac Molina who spent his summer interning for UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is an aspiring doctor who has dreams of attending Johns Hopkins University.

We did it! Career Day was a success. A huge thanks to our sponsor, Toyota, and a special shoutout to DJ Texas Tip and Black Men in White Coats for their incredible presentations with our brothers this morning. Thanks to you, Brother Jeremiah Lewis, a 6th grader, attended the Lone Star Leadership Academy this summer. Brother Malcolm Moore, a 10th grader, traveled to Berlin, Germany, where he learned German and explored the land's history. These experiences are vital for personal growth, leadership skills, and cultural awareness.
