David Omenukor Foundation Launches 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in Grand Style

The David Omenukor Foundation officially launched its 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness and Early Detection Campaign on September 4, 2026, at its United States headquarters in Mesquite, Texas.

The community outreach, organized in partnership with Methodist Health System, provided free mammogram screenings to approximately 20 women, with particular attention given to underserved and vulnerable members of the community.

This initiative forms part of the Foundation’s annual campaign to raise breast cancer awareness, promote regular screenings, encourage early detection, and empower women to take proactive steps to protect their health.

The Foundation’s 2026 outreach efforts will continue at its headquarters in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, extending these vital services to women who may face financial, geographic, or other barriers to accessing breast cancer screening.

Participants expressed their excitement and appreciation for the opportunity to receive free mammograms. They commended the Foundation for its dedication to women’s health and encouraged other eligible women to take advantage of future screening opportunities.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the David Omenukor Foundation, Dr. Keyna Omenukor, expressed her sincere appreciation to Methodist Health System for its invaluable partnership and support. She also thanked the Foundation’s dedicated team members, volunteers, supporters, and everyone whose presence, commitment, and hard work contributed significantly to the success of the outreach.

The David Omenukor Foundation remains committed to raising cancer awareness, promoting early detection, and improving access to potentially life-saving screening services, particularly for women in underserved communities.

Do not wait until you notice a lump or experience symptoms.
Encourage your mother, sister, daughter, friend, or colleague to get screened.

Make your breast health a priority.
Early detection can lead to earlier treatment and better outcomes. Take this important step for yourself and the people who love you.

Book your mammogram today and encourage another woman to do the same!
