We are ready for poetry and tea tomorrow! Join us September 9 at 6pm in the bookstore to enjoy Rakkasan teas and writing by Mary Oliver. Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to read a poem or short essay aloud!

Our monthly tea tasting is tomorrow at 6pm! Escape the summer heat and celebrate back to school by stopping by to enjoy some Rakkasan tea with us! We will taste two hot teas.

From high in the Himalayas, just across the border from Darjeeling, comes a black tea from eastern Nepal. Kanchenjunga’s Shadow is an exceptional black tea grown within view of Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world.

Kanchenjunga’s Shadow comes from a family-owned farm and is reflective of the high altitude Himalayan terroir in which it’s grown. It has notes of dark chocolate, raisins and cherry. Link in stories!

Our artisan tea friends in the mountains above Cali have spent years inventing amazing blends. Valle del Cauca Green is one such creation. It starts with a base of Andean green tea, then a variety of dried fruits and spices are added. The combination is lower in caffeine, so it’s excellent, morning, noon or night!

Tart and peppery with a distinctive dry-leaf scent of anise, this green tea comes from high in the Andes. It’s blended with mango biche, pepper, kiwi, anise, cardamom and cinnamon for a tantalizing combination!
