🎉 Congratulations, Mr. Bearden! 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate Mr. Bearden, our STEM teacher, for being selected from many candidates across our school district to represent Poole Elementary in the 2026 -2027 ReGenesis Technology Cohort!

Through this opportunity, Mr. Bearden will work toward earning his Microsoft Elevate certification, continue developing his leadership skills, and explore coaching opportunities in instructional technology.

Anyone who knows Mr. Bearden knows how passionate he is about ALL things STEM and creating exciting, hands-on learning opportunities for our Trailblazers. We are so proud to see his hard work and dedication recognized with this opportunity! 💙

Mr. Bearden also currently has a DonorsChoose project for Poole, and a portion of every donation is currently being matched!! If you aren't able to donate, simply sharing his project can help us spread the word and support his vision for STEM at Poole.

🏆 Principal’s Award: Manners Minute 🏆

Congratulations to Isla and Ethan, our very first recipients of the Principal’s Award for Manners Minute!

Each afternoon during announcements, Mrs. Davis shares a quick Manners Minute with our Trailblazers that focuses on one simple way to show kindness, respect, and good manners to others. Throughout the week, students have the opportunity to put what they are learning into action!

Our first focus was greeting others by name, saying good morning, and asking someone how their day is going. Ms. Davis caught Isla and Ethan putting this into practice around our school! ❤️

Each week brings a new Manners Minute, so be sure to ask your child, “What are you learning in Manners Minute this week?” You can even challenge them to practice it at home!

Every Friday is Hat Day! Students who would like to participate can bring $1 to their homeroom teacher Friday morning.

You are such an important part of our school family, and we are so thankful for everything you do each and every day. From getting our students to and from school safely to making sure they are fed, cared for, and ready to learn—you make such a difference!
Your hard work, patience, kindness, and dedication often happen behind the scenes, but we see you, we appreciate you, and we are SO thankful for you! 💕

Heads up Trailblazers, Hat Day starts tomorrow!🧢 Students who would like to participate can bring $1.00 (cash only) to their homeroom teacher and wear their favorite hat to school!

🍦 And don’t forget…our first Frozen Friday is tomorrow, too! Students who have already purchased Frozen Friday will enjoy a sweet treat to end the week. Any purchases made tonight by 11:59pm will be included for tomorrow.

Friday Spirit Day 🐴🎉

Our staff will wear our new team shirts tomorrow! If you purchased one for your child at Open House, we would love for them to wear theirs, too.

If your child does not have a team shirt but would still like to join in on Spirit Day, they can wear their hallway/team color: Red, Blue, or Green.

➡️ Their may be a small treat for our Team Spirit Day winner!

Our teams are:

Team Mario – Red Hall (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Mrs. Oliver, and Mrs. Turner)

Team Sonic – Blue Hall (2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, Mrs. Standridge, and Mrs. Morris)

Team Minecraft – Green Hall (4th Grade and 5th Grade)
