With a saddened heart I must inform you that Unit 453 and Post 453 lost a very special and long time member. Joann " JoJo" Thompson Sciortino peacefully passed away at her home with her family present on May 22, 2026. She was a friend to all, and a long time bartender at the American Legion. She will dearly be missed. The family had a private service for her. The Legion family doesn't have any plans yet. We will post it when decisions are made.
