Posts that violate the above policies will be removed from public view. Severe or frequent offenders will be blocked from future postings. Senior Hunter Trusler was the Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

Senior Tony Vasquez was a 1st Team All-District Infielder.

Senior Geovani Barron was a 1st Team All-District Pitcher.

Senior Kreed Hines was the 1st Team All-District Utility Player.

Senior Talon Garcia was a 1st Team All-District Outfielder.

Junior Luis Deleon was a 2nd Team All-District Outfielder.

Senior Kade Speer was the 2nd Team All-District Designated Hitter.

Freshman Krew Hines was an Honorable Mention All- District Outfielder.

Sophomore Chance Juilfs was an Honorable Mention All-District Catcher.

We will have lightening the next 3 hours. We are moving to the DHS Auditorium at 8:15. Doors will not open until 7:45. Each student has six tickets you will need a ticket to enter the auditorium. Everyone else is welcome to watch in the gym or the cafeteria.

We have lightening strikes within 5 miles of the football field, we are under delay until 7:30. We will keep everyone posted.

KAMR News Channel 4 has inaccurately reported that the graduation has already been moved inside.
That decision has not been made. Weather permitting we have every intention of having graduation outside at the football stadium.

Attention DHS Senior Parents and Family.

DHS Graduation Ceremony:

Thursday May 21, 2026 7:00PM

We have every intention of having graduation on time at Memorial Football Stadium at 7:00PM tomorrow evening May 21,2026. We have rain in the forecast and with the drought we are experiencing I am certain the rain would be welcome.

We have explored other options in the event that we can not have graduation on the football field.
We have visited with several churches and locations and none of them would be able to seat more than the auditorium at DHS.

We have 115 seniors graduating and they will each receive 6 tickets for entrance into the auditorium.
Everyone is welcome to attend, if you do not have a ticket, we will live stream the ceremony in both the DHS Gym and in the Cafeteria.

We gave the senior students that were here this morning the option of dividing the class in half and having two separate ceremonies or having one graduation and limiting them to 6 tickets each. They chose to graduate with every class member at the same time.
