Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who answered the call to serve our country, past and present. Their sacrifice, courage, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, the Town of Daleville is proud to recognize 56 Hometown Heroes through our Hometown Heroes Banner Program (named in the graphic posted here). Thanks to the incredible generosity of our 2026 sponsors and community supporters, we were able to add 23 new banners this year to the 33 banners displayed in 2025. Every banner represents a story of service, sacrifice, family, and hometown pride.

For those wishing to visit and view the banners, whether to honor a loved one, reflect in remembrance, or simply say thank you, the banners are displayed along the west side of Walnut Street and throughout Daleville Town Hall Park. They will proudly remain on display through Veterans Day.

To all who have served, and to the families who have stood beside them: thank you! Daleville remembers, honors, and appreciates you today and always.

Tomorrow, May 5, 2026, is Election Day. Please note that Delaware County has moved to voting centers. Locally, Daleville residents can vote at the Daleville Fire Department. The polls are open from 6am-6pm.

🗳 ELECTION DAY INFORMATION 🗳

Delaware County has chosen to move to vote centers. To try to help our citizens adjust to these changes, we are sharing some information about how they work. Locally, there is a voting center in Daleville at the Fire Station! The polls are open from 6am-6pm, as always, on Election Day.

Daleville Utilities is starting flow testing today and will continue through May 1.

You may notice discolored water or reduced pressure at times. This is NORMAL!
Running cold water will help clear any discoloration. Not everyone will experience these issues, and not everyone will experience them at the same time if they do occur.
