What a fun night last night! The fire department pulled through and gets to keep the trophy again for the third year in a row!

The Dakota City Fire Department is proud to host the 2026 Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighters Association Annual Conference on October 15–17, 2026!

To help raise funds for this event, we are selling driveway signs for just $20.00 each. We’ve been battling the challenges of Midwest weather over the past few weeks, but we are steadily working our way through our list of sign-ups. It has been incredible to see the support from our community! There’s nothing better than driving through town and seeing these signs proudly displayed in driveways!

The 2026 NSVFA Annual Conference is headed to Dakota City, Nebraska, October 15–17, 2026!

Hosted by the Dakota City Fire Department, this year’s conference will bring together volunteer firefighters from across the state for training, networking, and recognition.
