Several people have come together and started a book club. The first month’s book was Grown Woman Talk: Your Guide to Getting and Staying Healthy by Sharon Malone. We are now on our second selection, The Women by Kristin Hannah. (Sorry not sure how to underline or make italics for the book titles ) Each member of the group will get a chance to make a selection of their choice (any genre) for the group to read. Feel free to order the book, borrow from the library or a friend and join us! (And we are all pretty new to this and just making it up as we go along) 😊

3 Turkeys left. If anyone needs one dm or let Cynthia Tyler, Sherri Yancec, Darra Darra or Juanita Tyler know asap. Pick up tomorrow (11/17) at the center 4-6pm once confirmed.

If anyone is still in need of a turkey, LeMoyne Community Center has donated 15 turkeys and some sides. We will distribute them along with any can goods/non perishable items from Mt. Zion Baptist Church and individuals of the community. Because there is a limited supply, there can only be one per household and you must be present or have made arrangements (confirmed through us) for someone else to pick it up for you.
