UGA Lumpkin County Extension Soil Testing, Water Testing, Agriculture Assistance, Gardening, Education, 4-H Program

UGA Cooperative Extension was founded in 1914 to take research-based agricultural information to the people of Georgia. County agents and specialists throughout the state share information on issues like water quality, profitability in agribusiness, family wellness and life skills. UGA Cooperative Extension coordinates 4-H, Georgia's largest youth program. Each year, almost 200,000 young Georgians

participate in community projects, summer camps and conferences on today's issues while having fun and learning to work together. The leadership skills and responsible values they learn in 4-H last a lifetime

Summer Activity: Day in Dahlonega on July 13, 2026.

Students can spend the day around downtown Dahlonega; visit the historic jail, making art and having fun at our local park.

Lunch, snacks, and supplies will be provided.
Cost is $15--Sign up by July 1st
Open to students in the 5-8th grades.
To sign up, call (706-864-2275) or email ([email protected]) to get paperwork and pay the fee.

Open to students in the 5-12 grade.
