Our Canadian policing family is grieving.
Three officers lost in three days. Three families forever changed. The weight of that loss reaches every member of our policing community.
In moments like this, we are reminded how deeply officers need lasting, trusted mental health support, without stigma, without fear, and without silence. But as FCPO, we also know that true hope is found in Jesus Christ.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
This is the promise we cling to. In the darkest valleys, He is near. His presence brings comfort no program can replace, and His peace reaches places no policy can touch.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
This invitation is for every officer carrying invisible weight. Every family navigating grief. Every coworker asking hard questions. Christ offers rest, healing, and hope that does not fade.
We cannot wait until tragedy forces the conversation.
We must stand together before someone reaches a breaking point, supporting one another, praying for one another, and pointing one another to the One who restores.
Protecting those who serve includes protecting their mental health, and reminding them of the Savior who walks with them through every storm.

Notre famille policière canadienne est en deuil.
Trois agents perdus en trois jours. Trois familles à jamais bouleversées. Le poids de cette perte touche chaque membre de notre communauté policière.
Dans des moments comme celui-ci, nous sommes rappelés à quel point les agents ont besoin d’un soutien en santé mentale durable et digne de confiance, sans stigmatisation, sans peur et sans silence. Mais en tant que FCPO, nous savons aussi que la véritable espérance se trouve en Jésus-Christ.
« Le Seigneur est proche de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé, et Il sauve ceux dont l’esprit est abattu. » Psaume 34:18
C’est la promesse à laquelle nous nous accrochons. Dans les vallées les plus sombres, Il est là. Sa présence apporte un réconfort qu’aucun programme ne peut remplacer, et Sa paix atteint des endroits qu’aucune politique ne peut toucher.
« Venez à moi, vous tous qui êtes fatigués et chargés, et je vous donnerai du repos. » Matthieu 11:28
Cette invitation s’adresse à chaque agent portant un poids invisible, à chaque famille traversant le deuil, à chaque collègue se posant des questions difficiles. Le Christ offre le repos, la guérison et une espérance qui ne s’efface jamais.
Nous ne pouvons pas attendre que la tragédie nous force à parler.
Nous devons nous tenir ensemble avant que quelqu’un atteigne le point de rupture en nous soutenant, en priant les uns pour les autres, et en nous tournant vers Celui qui restaure.
Protéger ceux qui servent inclut protéger leur santé mentale et leur rappeler le Sauveur qui marche avec eux à travers chaque tempête.
