Today, WREC was proud to present a $10,000 donation to (Feeding Empty Little Tummies), helping support their mission of providing food assistance to children facing food insecurity in our local communities.

The check was presented to Operation HeartF.E.L.T. Pattie Stepbach and John Theodore, and we are honored to support the incredible work they and the organization do to help children in need.

⚠️ Remember: WREC will never call and demand immediate payment over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious call, do not provide personal or financial information. Hang up and verify the phone number and person by contacting your local WREC district office using the numbers listed on our website.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We reflect on the courage of the first responders, military members, and everyday heroes who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As we remember those who were taken too soon, we also recognize the resilience, unity, and strength that emerged in the days, months, and years that followed.

May we never forget the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the spirit of service and sacrifice that continues to inspire our nation. ❤️

District Manager Ben Cooper spoke about WREC and the many programs and services available to our Members. Journeyman Ryan Valade also shared the incredible story of WREC’s involvement in Light Up Navajo and the impact this meaningful project has on families in the Navajo Nation.
