⚡Conserve & Save Alert! 🌡️
With a spike in temperatures forecast later today, energy demand will rise also - and your help would be appreciated!
Please join us in our Conserve & Save effort by reducing energy use during peak hours. Even small changes can make a large difference:
✅ Raise your thermostat a degree or two
✅ Don't use large appliances until later in the evening
✅ Keep lights and electronics off when not in use
The less strain on the electric grid, the more energy will be reliable for everyone. Please check out wrec.net to view our peak monitor and have a great weekend!

Today, we recognize National Women Veterans Day, honoring the brave individuals who have served our country with courage and dedication.

While this day shines a light on the contributions of women in the military, it does not take away from the importance of Veterans Day in November, when we honor all who have served. Rather, it gives us an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the unique and often underrecognized role women have played in defending our freedoms.
We are proud to have women veteran organizations here in our community that uplift, support, and represent these heroes every day.

From all of us at Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative—thank you for your service. ❤️💙
