The Spirit Tree Inc. The Spirit Tree animal sanctuary is a small non-profit sanctuary nestled on almost 14 acres in the rolling hills of east Pasco County, Florida.

The purpose of the sanctuary is to offer a permanent home for certain exotics, farm animals, reptiles and wildlife that may be unreleasable, abused or needing placement for various reasons. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for animals that need a place to live out the rest of their lives. Education and cruelty prevention are also part of the mission here at the sanctua

ry. By meeting some of our sanctuary residents and telling their stories we hope to not only educate but also inspire compassion for our animal friends.

I have the strangest animals.. my Zebu’s can’t stand to get wet and at the first sprinkle high tail it to the barn. My horses like to be in the rain even though I try to convince to come in. Anyone else’s horses do that?

Spousal Unit had to go in with the foxes to work on the camera .. I have to go with him because they delight in sneaking up on people and giving them a good “ pinch” if you aren’t paying attention. 🤣🤣
