This is the motto by which we live. Because we're local, we can serve the unique needs of the communities we live in. We host a Bingo night at Bingo Alley in Longmont as our major fundraiser. We sponsor a Food Bank in Dacono for residents of the Tri Town area. We also sponsor college scholarships for graduating seniors from Frederick High School. And because we're global, through our affiliation
with Lions Club International, we can address challenges that go beyond borders. Since 1990, SightFirst has made it possible for more than 30 million people, around the world, to have improved or restored vision. Over the past 25 years, more than 12 million young people in 85 countries have benefited through Lions Quest, our youth development program for kindergarten through 12th grade. We have helped provide supplies and shelter during disasters and helped in rebuilding communities after the disaster. And, we help in the fight against measles, across the globe, through donations for vaccinations. Even today, measles are the cause of over 300 deaths a day - yes, A DAY!
