Cy-Fair FD Station 7

Cy-Fair FD Station 7 Cy-Fair Fire Department Station 7 Station 7 was the reopening of old Station 3 on Telge in 1979. Old Station 7 was used for storage then later sold.

This station remained in service until it was combined with Station 3 and moved to Station 3’s present location at 11827 Telge Road. Continued growth north on 290 in the Fairfield subdivision again created the need for another station. The developer had set aside a section at 20444 Cypresswood Drive and a new Station 7 was built and opened to supply the needs in this area. This station houses Engine 7, Tower 7, Booster 7, Medic 7 and Rescue Boat 7.

Today marks 22 years since the day the country watched in horror as hijacked airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Today, with great honor and pride, we thank two station 7 members Bretagne and her handler Denise Corliss, who were among the rescuers at ground zero, for their selfless work and sacrifices made at Ground Zero.

National EMS Week is May 21st through May 27th...a week dedicated to our members who work tirelessly every day to provide high quality pre-hospital care to those in the Cy-Fair area.

The Cy-Fair Fire Department wants to recognize all of its EMS personnel for the hard work, dedication and desire to be the best out there.

In 1974, President Ford designated the third week in May as EMS Week to honor EMS clinicians and the important work they do in our nation's communities.

So to our medics and EMS staff, Happy EMS Week!
