Today, we were proud to recognize Senior Police Officer Terrence Brooks at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon for his quick thinking and lifesaving actions when a middle school student began choking.

When seconds mattered, Officer Brooks recognized the emergency and immediately took action, ultimately saving the student’s life. His calm response, training, and willingness to act demonstrate exactly what it means to serve and protect our school community.

School-based policing is about far more than enforcing laws—it is about being there for our students when they need us most. Officer Brooks’ actions are a powerful example of the important role our officers play on our campuses every day.

Please join us in congratulating Senior Police Officer Terrence Brooks on this well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud to have him as a member of the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Police Department.

The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Police Department is excited to invite our community to our Back the Boo Trunk or Treat! Bring the family, wear your favorite costumes, and join us for an evening filled with candy, Halloween fun, and community spirit!
