Before you lock your car and walk away, always check the backseat.

A child or pet left in a vehicle — even for just a few minutes — can face deadly temperatures fast, even when it doesn’t feel that hot outside. 🚗

At Cypress Creek Fire Department, the names of our fire stations carry special meaning—they are stories of dedication, sacrifice, and legacy.

Station 21, the Peter Johnson Jr. Memorial Firehouse, is named in honor of Pete Johnson Jr., a devoted volunteer who tragically lost his life in 1997 while training to become a Houston firefighter. His gear remains at the new station as a daily reminder of his commitment to our community and his fellow firefighters.

These dedications ensure that the courage and selflessness will never be forgotten, guiding and inspiring us every day as we serve the Cypress Creek Community, as they did.
