Not sure what counts as household hazardous waste? 🧴🔋💻

From paint and cleaning products to batteries, e-waste and sharps, these items require special disposal and should never be placed in your regular trash or recycling carts.

OC Waste & Recycling operates four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers where residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste, e-waste and sharps at no cost.

The centers are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn more at cypressca.org/cleanup.

Mosquitoes are the worst. Luckily, the fight continues. 🦟

As mosquito activity continues this summer, our partners at the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District will conduct an Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) treatment in portions of Buena Park, Cypress and La Palma from Sept. 2-4 to help reduce adult mosquitoes and the risk of mosquito-borne disease.

📍Treatment area: Near Lincoln Avenue and Walker Street
📅 Sept. 2–4
⏰ Midnight–5:30 a.m.

At the application rate this product will not harm:
►People or pets, even if present during the application,
►Fruit trees, vegetable gardens, or fishponds,
►Bees, as the product is applied at a time when bees are not active.

There is no need to turn off air conditioning systems during the application.
