District 9 swimmers, this is for you: four parks, lessons for children and adults, available now, and affordable for every resident.

Learning to swim saves lives, builds strength, and boosts confidence for all ages. We’ve allocated funds to expand schedules and create more slots, with qualified instructors and safety gear provided. Sign-ups are open! Sign up at www.miamidadeparks.com

Memorial Day isn’t just a long weekend, it’s a pledge to remember and Team McGhee did just that today. We honored the men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom, and we honored the families who carry that weight every day. Their courage and sacrifice shape who we are and remind us to live with gratitude, kindness, and service.

Please take a moment to pause, thank a veteran, reach out to a family, and support those who keep their stories alive. Let this day teach our children what duty, remembrance, and gratitude truly mean.

We are forever grateful for your sacrifice. You are not forgotten.

was exactly where they needed to be Saturday morning… walking side by side with our great residents of Florida City.

Yesterday’s mental health walk reminded us that every step we take together is a step toward brighter days. Mental health matters, and showing up for one another is how we heal.

If you or someone you know is struggling, you’re not alone — reach out, take a breath, and keep moving forward. Small actions can make a big difference.

Celebrating National Nurses Week

Today may be the last day of National Nurses Week, but our gratitude for nurses lasts every day. We’re so happy to have had the chance to celebrate these compassionate, dedicated, life-saving heroes this week—and we’re grateful for them always. Their empathy, skill, and unwavering commitment to care inspire us all.

Nurses are the heartbeat of healthcare and today we thank you for your daily sacrifices, endless resilience, and the hope you bring to patients and families.
