Thank you to everyone who attended our Family History Day 1776 yesterday, and a special thanks to all our volunteers who helped make the day possible. In a last-minute surprise, the 3rd New York Regiment reenactors brought a battalion of British troops with them, which further enhanced the presentation. There was a lot going on, with three musical organizations performing and so many presenters, that all did a wonderful job. We stepped back in time to honor and help celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding.
