This full-time position combines office work, customer service, and fieldwork. Duties include processing permits, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and assisting the public with planning and development questions.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $19.04 per hour
Benefits: Paid leave and a comprehensive county benefits package
Location: Custer, SD — relocation or commute required
We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with the public. A high school diploma or GED and a valid South Dakota driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one, are required. Knowledge of planning, permitting, GIS, or records management is preferred.
