On 30 January 2026, Saber Squadron held a Change of Responsibility Ceremony as we bid farewell to 1SG Sifford and welcomed 1SG Chrisley as the new Killer Troop First Sergeant.

We thank 1SG Sifford for his dedicated leadership, mentorship, and commitment to the Troopers and families of Killer Troop. His impact will continue to be felt across the formation.

Last Week, 2-16 CAV conducted a joint medical readiness exercise with Martin Army Community Hospital, sharpening casualty evacuation, patient movement, and continuity of care across military and civilian medical systems. From MEDEVAC to ground transport, Soldiers and medical professionals executed with precision to ensure rapid, effective treatment at every step.
