Please join friends and neighbors for a seasonal celebration of cheer. The piano is mostly in tune, we will have carol sheets but please feel free to bring a winter reading or Christmas poem.

Some light will be provided, but heat will come only from our bodies and dressing warm

Stay after for hot mulled drinks and nibbles.

Dear Cushingfolk:

Please join your friends, neighbors and fellow champions of the Old South Cushing Church for this year's (semi)annual harvest celebration, in honor of the former congregation's request and in lieu of this year's canceled August worship service.

Let us gather on Sunday 29 October at 2:00 for what we hope will amount to a delightful combination of the two, featuring music and readings, and followed by a simple potluck of soup and bread al fresco (hopefully the weather will cooperate).

Consider this a call for contributions from prospective readers & musicians (any genre), soup & bread chefs, and we'd love to decorate the building during the service with art made locally that depicts Cushing in some way (in any medium), plus maybe some mums and pumpkins. We are super excited about this weekend's event. So many studios and galleries, and you can get lunch along the way!! Hard copies of this map will be available at the Langlais Preserve, Saturday and Sunday.
