As part of an upcoming in-person traffic safety presentation for our students in grades 9–12 next week, parents and guardians are also invited to take part in a free webinar opportunity designed to continue the conversation about safe driving at home.

Parents and guardians of teen drivers, your habits are their roadmap.

Parents play an important role in shaping teen driver attitudes, choices, and behaviors behind the wheel. In conjunction with our upcoming high school student workshops, parents are invited to join the Traffic Injury Research Foundation, USA for a free, interactive webinar exploring practical strategies to help parents set and model expectations for safe driving and reduce risky driving behaviors.

The webinar will also provide helpful information to support continued conversations at home following the teen driver school workshop.

The Book Swap station at Curwensville Elementary provides a space for every family to get new books in their home📚.

Students may bring in books they have already read and swap them out for any book available in the swap station. Keep the book forever or until you’re ready to swap it out for another!

This is just another example of how Curwensville Elementary is dedicated to building a home library in every student’s home in the district!🖤💛
