Our New Animal Control of Curwensville Borough is Jeff Johnson. His phone number is 814-496-1214. He will only be handling domestic animals. Anything to do with wildlife animals is being referred to Brian Knepp and his number is 814-761-1868. There will also be a charge to you for Brian's services. Sorry for any inconvenience.

‼️UPDATE!!!! 1/21/23 We have absolutely had no sightings of this pup. As slow as she gets around someone had to have seen her that day. We looked everywhere!!! We are asking for everyone’s help look in ditches your garages yards under anything a 40lb dog could go. We are still watching the creek since day one and nothing. We need to find her even if she has passed so this family has closure. We are hoping and praying to find her alive. Please everyone help us help this family!!

‼️ 1/19/23 Absolutely no sighting of her we may need to do a search party! We have looked on the whole south side of Curwensville nothing! Have not seen her near creek. We need everyone’s eyes and everyone to scan their properties!!

If you live on the south side of Curwensville please check your garage carport basement steps outside. Anywhere a pup can hide. We are still praying to find her alive. It’s like she disappeared. One of our members even walked the cold creek yesterday looking and no sign of her. We are looking for a dog laying down as she can’t walk far when she does. We need to find her. Animals matter was out till 5am yesterday looking and another 9 hrs yesterday walking and driving and hanging flyers. We need to get her back safe. We may be setting up a search party tomorrow if anyone can help?? Please keep checking under anything on your property and your door bell cameras and house surveillance!

Still missing! The creek off of center st down to the susquehanna river was searched. We are asking everyone in Curwensville that live along Susquehanna Ave to check your properties! Check your cameras too. Talk to your neighbors about the missing dog. She is blind and deaf. She can not walk far.
She has been missing almost 24 hrs without a sighting. Anyone who walks rails to trails please check the river banks. We need everyone's help. Please call 814 761 0370 with any information.
