On behalf of the Curtis Community Pool Committee, we are excited to announce that we have secured $3 million in grants, bonding, and private donations, which guarantees the build of a new pool and bathhouse where the tennis courts currently sit.
The updated engineering estimates indicate that we must raise an additional $1,000,000 to make the project happen as we had planned. Our goal is not simply to replace what we have today—we want to create a destination our community can enjoy for decades to come.
The remaining funds will allow us to include the features that will make this a true family recreation center. One where families can live and work locally while enjoying a smaller version of what a larger community would have: a flume slide, shallow water play features, interactive fountains, diving boards, a small splash pad for toddlers, and swim lanes.
