We will be assisting with a proscribed burn this afternoon at wolf creek sportsman’s club on Teachout. You man notice an increased amount of emergency vehicles and smoke in the area.

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lorrie A. Dymond on March 20, 2026.

For more than 30 years, Lorrie gave her life to EMS in Sandusky and Seneca counties. She wasn’t just a paramedic—she was a teacher, a mentor, and a steady presence for so many in our field. Through her work with Vanguard-Sentinel and Penta, she helped shape countless EMTs and paramedics. If you ever had the privilege of being taught by Lorrie, you know the high standards she held and the way she truly cared about every one of her students.
Lorrie had a genuine servant’s heart and a deep passion for helping others grow. She didn’t just teach skills—she built confidence, inspired dedication, and left a lasting mark on generations of providers.
Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom and the back of an ambulance.

It lives on in every person she taught, every life they’ve gone on to touch, and every patient cared for because of her influence.
Please keep her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her in your thoughts and prayers. She will be deeply missed.

Thank you to all who came out and supported us. This call had a positive outcome, and all those involved got a chance to see and experience what we need to do in these emergencies.

All agencies were working hard and side by side to ensure that the public and the fisherman were safe and protected on the lake.

We were just informed that the ice leading into/out of Anchor Point and Meinke Marina West has been broken up. Fishermen may need to seek alternate exits from Lake Erie.
