Help Us Make a Difference
for Homebound Seniors ❤️
Earlier this year, the daughter of a senior couple in Dawsonville reached out to me for help getting a wheelchair ramp installed at her dad’s home. After facing significant health challenges over the past few years, her dad had become wheelchair-bound, making it extremely difficult and unsafe for him to leave the house for medical appointments. Six steep steps stood between him and the outside world.
Knowing this would be a long ramp requiring a larger work crew, I reached out to our wonderful partners at Johns Creek Baptist Church. They stepped up and constructed the ramp in just a few days! ~ Glenn, Senior Program Coordinator
This is what community looks like. People coming together to help our seniors live with greater safety, dignity, and independence.
For the month of September, we’re highlighting our Homebound Seniors who are facing challenges like these.
Every donation, large or small, can help us say “yes” when a senior needs us most.
