Tri-Cities Trail Town Tri-Cities Trail Town is working to connect the Tri-City Area of Cumberland, Benham, & Lynch, KY via a multi-trail system.

What is a Kentucky Trail Town?
• A Trail Town is a destination along a long-distance trail or adjacent to a trail system. It is a place where residents or visitors that are using the trail can find goods and services.
• The status of being a Trail Town brings signage, marketing, volunteer resources and potential funding opportunities. What is Tri-Cities Trail Town and what is its purpose?
• In 20

11, the Tri-City area of Cumberland, Benham and Lynch was chosen to pursue the status of a trail town through the office of Adventure Tourism.
• A group of diverse individuals began meeting in June 2012 to discuss ideas and seek Trail Town status. Also, at this time, the city governments were approached with the idea and submitted their support.
• Trail ideas that were submitted include horse, hiking, bicycles, ATVs/Off-road vehicles, kayaking, and motorcycles. These trails would connect with the Tri-Cities.

✅ Instilled pride in our beautiful mountains and history.

The Tri-Cities Trail Town Task Force is working hard to contiune to bring these benefits to our area — but we can’t do it alone! We’re looking for new members who care about the future of our region and want to make a real impact.
