🌟Meet Miles & David of Rooted Legacy x Bodi Buzz🌟

Some dreams start with business plans, while others start with a tomato plant. For David Johnson, a love for growing food began as a child, discovering the joy of watching something grow from the ground up. Years later, during the uncertainty of the COVID pandemic, empty grocery store shelves reminded him just how disconnected people had become from their food sources. He decided something needed to change.

Together, David Johnson of Bodi Buzz and Miles Mason of Rooted Legacy are creating a space where fresh food, education, wellness, and community come together. They are helping people reconnect with the land, learn where food comes from, explore nutrition and herbal wellness, and build a stronger, healthier community for everyone.

Today, their growing space includes fresh produce, native plants, an herbal education garden, wellness programming, volunteer opportunities, and plans for community movie nights, classes, and events. Most importantly, it is a place where everyone is welcome.

We are excited to welcome Rooted Legacy and Bodi Buzz to Cumberland and grateful for the passion and community spirit they are bringing to our town. Be sure to stop by, say hello, attend one of their upcoming events, and follow their journey on social media. While produce is still growing, they anticipate having fresh produce available beginning in late June or early July. If you see them working on the farm, make sure you give them a warm Cumberland welcome.

Welcome to Cumberland. We can’t wait to see what grows next. 🌱💚
