Our annual OPEN HOUSE is just around the corner! We'll be serving appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Come out, shop small, and be merry with the community while supporting local artists! Some statistics from 2022:
• 390 different households consisting of nearly 850 individuals were served by the pantry in 2022
• Over 120,000 pounds of food were distributed during 2022, that is an average monthly distribution of 5 TONS of food!

We could never have done this without the incredible support we receive from the community!

Thank you for all the contributions, whether they are financial, food donations, or other creative ways of supporting the pantry.

A special thank you to all the community volunteers and organizations that help to make this possible from the Board of Directors. Without our volunteers we would never be able to serve those in need of food support in our area!

Just a reminder to clients visiting the Pantry: Now that we have transitioned back ti in pantry shopping please bring your own boxes or containers!

We anticipate returning to in-building personal shopping on May 20 2022, providing local health conditions are favorable. Clients should prepare by bringing their own containers and arriving no earlier than 12:30 PM. Since parking is limited and only a small number of people will be allowed in the building at one time, please consider shopping later in the 1:00 - 3:00 PM open hours. If, at any time, health conditions in the area are not safe for our families and volunteers we will return to pre-packed boxes and drive up service.

In addition to personal shopping we will resume accepting food donations from the public of unexpired items and fresh produce. Donations can be brought to the pantry on Fridays between noon and 3:00 PM. Please do not leave donations when the pantry is closed!

Today we received notice of possible salmonella contamination of zucchini that was distributed on Friday April 22nd. If you received any of this zucchini please discard it.

In 2021 the Cumberland Area Food Pantry served 329 different households and distributed ove 130,000 pounds of food.

We could not have accomplished this without the wonderful support of the community and our volunteers.

Here is our distribution schedule for the remainder of December, we will be open:

Friday December 17 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Thursday December 23 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Thursday December 30 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Our normal schedule of every Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM will resume on January 7th 2022.

This year our pre-Thanksgiving distribution will take place on November 19th. We would like to thank Northern Lakes Church for their generous donation of Thanksgiving turkeys!!!

Also, a reminder the Pantry will be closed the Friday following Thanksgiving (November 26th).
