This post is to provide information regarding a recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) infant formula recall.

ByHeart, a baby nutrition company, voluntarily recalled all ByHeart infant formula nationwide after notification from the FDA regarding an ongoing investigation into a recent outbreak of infant botulism.

● ByHeart is not a Maryland WIC-approved formula.

● Maryland currently has no known cases associated with this outbreak.

Don't forget to pick up your Farmers' Bounty Box today at the Allegany County Health Department!

Boxes will be inside the Community Room located on the ground floor of the Health Department.

Pick up time is 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM. You must have reserved a box in order to pick one up.

Stay tuned for another opportunity to purchase the Farmers' Bounty Boxes later this month.

Today is the last day to reserve your Community Farmers' Bounty Box.

Pick up for the reserved boxes is tomorrow, Monday, September 15, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Allegany County Health Department.

Please go to the ground floor of the health department and the boxes will be inside the Community Room.

(Take elevator to the ground floor, "G", take the hallway to the left and follow it to the community room).
