Join us and learn new skills! American Red Cross Lifeguarding provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.

Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a digital certificate for Lifeguarding.

If you have specific questions about the training course, please reach out to the Plunge staff! Search "Lifeguard" in ActiveNet to register!

Registration opens a week prior to the class on Monday. October registration will be the 12th at 7 AM. November’s registration will be the 9th at 7 AM.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for the Grand Opening of our new playground at Culver West Alexander Park yesterday! Thank you to the awesome PRCS staff and city leadership who made this project happen 😁 We loved seeing the smiles and laughs as kids and families explored the new playground 🌟

Thank you to our Culver City City Council, City Manager team, PRCS Commissioners, Great Western Recreation and EVERYONE on the PRCS staff team who worked so hard on this playground!

It's time!! We'll see you soon at Culver West Alexander Park for our new playground Grand Opening! Today October 10th, 11 AM–2 PM. We'll have music, food trucks and tons of family fun!

Culver West Alexander Park is located at 4162 Wade Street in West Culver City.

The new playground features an adventure-filled space designed for imagination, exploration, and play, including a shaded sandbox where children can dig for “dinosaur bones” and innovative play structures to climb and explore.

Please note our Sensory Saturday event scheduled at El Marino Park for this Saturday the 10th is cancelled as we welcome ALL to playground Grand Opening event at Culver West Park from 11 AM-2 PM 😊 🥳
