This morning, the City of Culver City celebrated the completion of the MOVE Culver City Eastern Segment, a gap-closure project that strengthens regional mobility and completes 4.5 miles of continuous biking from Downtown Culver City toward West Adams in South Los Angeles.

The project extends dedicated bus and bike lanes approximately 1,500 feet east to the Washington/Fairfax transit hub, connecting the Downtown corridor to existing bike infrastructure on Adams Boulevard.

Improvements include fresh road resurfacing, new concrete-protected bike lanes, and other upgrades that support safer, more comfortable, and more reliable travel.

Funded in part by Metro and allocated through the Westside Cities Council of Governments, with General Fund support for paving, this project reflects Culver City’s continued commitment to improving mobility for all who live, work, visit, and travel through our community.

Mobility remains at the heart of MOVE Culver City as we continue working toward a city where everyone moves better — safely, comfortably, reliably, and with more joy.
