Intakes have come in since the soft reopening. They are in desperate need of puppy pads and formula. If you can, please donate or share to help them. Raccoons are messy babies and need their cage cleaned multiple times a day. We are down to our last pack of pads and a quarter of their formula.

Singleton male whom I call HISTER. He has been here for 2 weeks. He came in with 2 other siblings, but they did not make it through the night when brought in. Their mom was struck by a vehicle, sending some flying. He was the only one left unscathed by injuries.

I AM going to try a soft opening. I have had time to get my squirrel cages cleaned, my rehab disinfected, 13 loads of laundry done and put away, and 7 possums moved outside. I'm still caring for the rehab solely on my own with no help and working a full-time job. And I have miserable weeks like this week where I work 13-hour shifts all M-F and 48 hours over the weekend all by myself. So when work is busy, the babies can't get what they need, which is why I have to choose very carefully what I take in. Some days the work calls are slow. Others, like earlier this week, were 75 calls within 9 hours. Thank you all for understanding the time I needed to gather myself and my sanity.

Analis *problem child* had an abcess that needed to be lanced, flushed, and upon doing so dr sydney found it was a skull fracture. We are hopeful it wont affect her any as she is eating and acting normal. Then we traded an injured box turtle for 4 raccoons while we were there at BRWC.

We have been waiting to post this ol girl as she was in BAD shape. After antibiotics and after 8 days her shows improvement! Her eye socket was so injured we didnt think she had an eye left. After warm compresses anti inflamatories and antibiotics Noel *what ive been calling her* HAS AN EYE!

Im closed to intakes and will not be answering phone calls or text for a while. My work and marriage is clashing and its affecting my time caring for the rehab and myself. My work days are running 12-14hr days at any given moment. I run the rehab souly by myself with no help WHAT SO EVER by anyone. So feeding cleaning shopping for food answering phones figuring out who needs what where they need to go, on top of taking care of my elderly father in law and maintain a house bc my "partner" wont do his part is leading to us loosing the house "and rehab". I apologize for all of this.
