In light of the recent Lindsay Clancy trial and the conversations it has brought forward, we want to remind the parents and families in our community:

Postpartum Mental Health Matters.

At Mom2Mom, supporting families means supporting the whole family, including the person who gave birth.

Postpartum depression, anxiety, and postpartum psychosis are real. Struggling after having a baby does not make someone a bad parent, and asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of.

We spend so much time checking on the baby. Let’s remember to check on the parent, too.

How are YOU doing? Really?

If you or someone you know needs help:
National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: Call or text 1-833-TLC-MAMA
Su***de & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988
For an immediate emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Postpartum mental health matters. And so do you. 💜💜

💜 September is Su***de Prevention Month.

At Mom2Mom, we spend a lot of time talking about diapers, formula, wipes, and the everyday needs of families. But there’s another need that matters just as much: making sure parents and caregivers know they don’t have to carry the hard stuff alone.

Parenthood can be beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, lonely, and sometimes all of those things at once.

This month, we want to remind our community to check on your people. Listen without judgment. Be kind. And if you’re the one struggling, please know that asking for help is a sign of strength.

You matter beyond what you provide for everyone else. 💜

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7.

You are worth checking on. You are worth listening to. You are worth staying for.

Sharing for our amazing community partner, Girls on the Run Piedmont! If you have a girl in 3rd-8th Grade, you should definitely check them out!

Does your daughter want to join Girls on the Run, but her school doesn't have a team?
We have a community team at Loriella Park in Spotsylvania, and registration is open!

This team is led by some wonderful local homeschool moms, but it is open to ALL girls in grades 3–8 — public school, private school, homeschool or anywhere in between. You do not have to attend a specific school to participate.
And we're offering BOTH Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole!

👟 Girls on the Run | Grades 3–5
Tuesdays & Fridays | 4:00–5:15 PM
💜 Heart & Sole | Grades 6–8
Fridays | 4:00–6:00 PM
📍 Loriella Park, Spotsylvania

Girls do NOT have to be runners! They can run, walk or move at their own pace. Practices combine movement with games, conversations and lessons that help girls navigate things like emotions, friendships, positive self-talk and working through hard moments.
It's a place to move, make friends, connect with caring coaches and have FUN.
Teams begin the week of September 7, so now is the time to join us!

💗 Financial assistance and payment plans are available. We never want cost to be the reason a girl can't participate.
No GOTR team at your school? Come join ours at Loriella Park!

Know a Spotsylvania family with a 3rd–8th grade girl? Please share this with them!

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.

Today, we remember those we’ve lost, hold space for the families who carry that loss, and stand beside those still fighting for recovery.

Overdose doesn’t affect just one person. It touches parents, children, friends, and entire communities.

At Mom2Mom, we believe in supporting families without judgment or shame. Recovery is possible. Compassion matters. And every life is worth saving.

💜 Remember those we’ve lost. Support those still here. End the stigma.💜

We are SO excited for our amazing friends at the Fauquier Free Clinic!!

What a wonderful addition for the families and individuals they serve, and for the Fauquier community as a whole! Transportation can be such a huge barrier when trying to access healthcare, resources, and support, and we love seeing another step toward making those services easier to reach.

Congratulations on this exciting new addition and another meaningful step toward making care more accessible in our community!

One of the things we value most at Mom2Mom is showing up for the community that continues to show up for us!

This week, our Executive Director, Kirstan Knipple, and Board Member Jeff Say had the opportunity to volunteer with Career Partners during Mock Interviews at Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School.

We met some amazing teenagers, heard about their goals, helped them practice their interview skills, and even got to share a little about Mom2Mom. Who knows... maybe we met a few future Mom2Mom volunteers!

We couldn't do what we do without our incredible community partners, and we believe being a good partner means showing up for others the same way they show up for us.

Thank you, Career Partners, for letting us be part of it! 💙
