Pool & Water Safety - As warm weather arrives; more people are spending time outdoors and enjoying recreational activities. To help everyone stay safe in and around pools and spas, follow these simple precautions: always watch children and never leave them unattended, keep children away from pool drains, pipes, and other openings, keep a charged phone nearby at all times, and share safety guidelines with family, friends, and neighbors.

✅ Completing Culpeper Technical Education Center Firefighting Program 🔥

✅ Becoming two of the FIRST THREE students to complete BOTH the Firefighting and EMT programs at CTEC 👏🏼

To recognize their hard work and dedication, President Josh Hall and Deputy Chief JJ Galvin presented them with their very own custom helmet shields - a symbol of their achievement and commitment to the fire service.

Even more special, these one-of-a-kind shields were handcrafted by Reva’s talented Captain Nate 👨‍🚒

We are incredibly proud of Ethan and Brooke and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.

As EMS Week 2026 comes to an end, this year’s theme, Improving Outcomes, Together, reminds us that EMS is never the work of just one person, one crew, or one agency. Each day, our providers work closely with dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement, flight teams, hospitals, neighboring agencies, and the community we serve. From training together and teaching CPR to supporting one another during challenging calls, strong outcomes depend on teamwork. EMS Week also gave us the chance to give back to our crews with a few station gifts and snacks as a small token of appreciation for all they do.
