As the westernmost institution in the UNC system, Western Carolina University provides educational opportunities to residents of the state’s western region and attracts students from around the globe to explore the area’s vast resources.

Is there a connection between creativity and a sense of well being and happiness? We think so. Join us and launch a rocket to creativity this summer.

Please help me get the word out about this opportunity for kids ages 7-15.
The idea is to provide something that will keep kids engaged in creative endeavors through challenges that can be done at home away from a screen.

Because it is virtual, we are open to kids from all over. Please help spread the word.

Please help spread the word, we have a scholarship for the MAED in Gifted, Creative and Innovative Education starting this spring. $1,250 a term. If you know anyone that is interested, pretty please have them contact me at [email protected] This will be a wonderful opportunity for a very low cost master's degree.

Facebook friends in WNC. Rocket to Creativity Starts Monday. I've had an unfortunate last minute cancellation of 10 children that were coming from Hayesville. We have plenty of kids to run the camp, but I hate that some people might have tried to register and were unable to because we thought we were full. We have groups for 10-13-year-olds that have space. If you know of any child in the area that would like to come to RTC please PM and I'll give you my cell for their parent to call. RTC is an amazing week full of exciting opportunities for kids to ignite their creativity. It starts on Monday morning.
