Glen Biller for Jackson County Sheriff Currently, I am a Haywood County deputy but I am a Jackson County resident. My family & I are members of Cashiers Baptist Church.

I have been married to my wife Angie for 31 years & have two grown children and one granddaughter. I am a 1981 graduate of Blue Ridge School in the Glenville-Cashiers area. After graduation, I entered the United States Army as a Combat Arms Infantry specialist. After 3 years in the Military, I returned home to Cashiers where I worked, raised my family, served as a volunteer firefighter & ambulance

attendant with the Rescue Squad. During my National Guard service, I was deployed to Iraq with the 210th MP company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. While there, I performed the duties of Squad leader & some of our duties included combat patrols, support & training to the Iraqi police, detainee escorts & served as desk sergeant for multiple Iraqi Police stations/detention centers. Upon returning home from Iraq, I retired with 24 years total military service. Prior to becoming a sworn officer, I was employed with a local building supply for 19 years & served as manager for approximately 12 years. My daily tasks as manager included daily operations, logistics, quality & assurance, making decisions & personal well being as a team. I enjoy working with the public.
