Heads up! 🚨

We have received several inquiries for energy assistance, and with weather only getting colder lately, we anticipate a higher rate of calls. While unfortunately we cannot help with utility assistance at this time, we are going to share some resources in our community below that we have confirmed might be able to help with partial or full assistance:

Community Action Partnership of North Alabama has re-opened online applications for utility assistance. Note, they are no longer accepting paper applications. You can visit https://capna.org/energy-assistance/ and click “online application portal” to get started.

Committee on Church Cooperation accepts appointments for utility assistance from 9 am to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call 256-739-1578 to make an appointment.

Cullman Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2214 will accept inquiries for assistance for veterans living in Cullman or Cullman County. Each inquiry will be handled on a case by case basis. Call the Post at 256-739-6611.
