📣October is Family Engagement Month📣

The ARI / The Alabama Reading Initiative is excited to share two family resource videos highlighting how everyday moments can become meaningful opportunities to build children's language and literacy skills!

🎥 Family Video Resources:

🛒 Grocery Store Conversations:
ARI Literacy FRESH for Family and Community Empowerment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-PvjGWIdg4

🚗 Conversations in the Car: ARI
Conversational Turns to Promote Oral Language Development: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_d0kaa1giA

📚Supporting their child's language and literacy development doesn't require extra time or special materials. Everyday routines provide meaningful opportunities to build vocabulary, encourage thinking, and strengthen family connections.

‼️Small moments can lead to BIG conversations!‼️

👏Thank you for your continued commitment to strengthening family engagement and supporting literacy development beyond the classroom!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
