Cullman Economic Development Agency The Cullman Economic Development Agency is a "one-stop-shop" for industry and retail.

The Cullman Economic Development Agency (CEDA), a division of the city of Cullman, Alabama, provides assistance to new and existing industries and developers, encouraging economic growth in the city. The agency’s purpose is to attract new industries, retail developments and other positive economic development projects to Cullman, and provide support for existing industries. In addition to a full-time staff, the Cullman EDA is advised by a nine member Industrial Development Board.

What began as a local holiday celebration in Cullman has grown into one of Alabama’s largest tourism attractions, earning statewide recognition as the Cullman Christkindlmarkt was named the Alabama Tourism Department’s 2026 Event of the Year.

The award recognizes the downtown festival’s impact on tourism, community engagement and economic development across Alabama. State tourism officials announced the honor ahead of the Alabama Governor’s Conference on Tourism, where the award will be formally presented July 13 in Florence.

The City of Cullman is proud to support the Cullman High School Bearcats as they play for the Alabama High School Athletic Association - AHSAA Class 6A State Championship today in Birmingham. After an incredible comeback in the Final Four, rallying from a 15-point deficit to win in overtime, this team has shown a lot of heart. Good luck today, Bearcats. Cullman is cheering you on.
