Today is National Peace Officers Memorial Day
WHEREAS, in 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation designating May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day, and the week in which it falls as National Police Week.
Happy police week to all who have or are serving!
God bless the families and friends of those who have passed. May the memory of their service not dim with the passing of time. May their memories inspire us to serve with greater purpose. Amen.
