With lots of new kittens (30) and lots of new puppies (18) - it is SO nice to have NEW volunteers at Pet Adoptions of Cuero. A big thank you to our "volunteers of the day - Freya and Ceye". This cheerful duo showed up bright and early this morning to pitch in with all the daily maintenance work and then offer some cuddles and petting to help socialize the newbies. Pet Adoptions of Cuero welcomes new helpers from 16 to 96 and beyond! Come TRY it - you'll like it! Help is needed every day of the year - we are open all 365 days from 8 AM till 12 noon at 407 US Highway 183 South, Cuero, TX 361-243-8540

A complex of storms will move across our far southern counties this morning, otherwise mainly dry conditions are expected today under partly sunny skies with a light southeasterly wind. There is a low (15-20%) chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon along and east of I-35 if the atmosphere has a chance to recover from the line of storms that moved across the area last night and early this morning.
