Cudahy Fire Department The Cudahy Fire Department wants to inform its citizens and the public what it is doing, what it has done, and what its plans are for the future.

The Cudahy Fire Department is committed to providing the highest level of Public Safety Services for our community and its citizens. We protect lives, property, and stabilize the incident through fire suppression, technical rescue, search and rescue, emergency medical and transportation services, disaster management, fire prevention, fire inspection, and public information. The Cudahy Fire Department will fulfill this mission through professionalism, genuine customer service, consistent quality training, integrity, ingenuity, physical and mental readiness, dedication, and the absolute need to do the right thing.

The Cudahy Fire Department alongside the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management would like to recognize and thank four outstanding lifeguards who stepped up during a medical emergency in July of last year.

When a gentleman suffered a medical event, these lifeguards immediately recognized the seriousness of the situation and initiated CPR before first responders arrived. Their quick actions, training, and willingness to act played an important role in giving this individual a fighting chance.

We are especially happy to share that the gentleman made a full recovery and is doing well today. His recovery is a wonderful reminder of how important it is to recognize an emergency, act quickly, and know what to do when every second counts.

Today, we want to recognize these four lifeguards for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to helping others. Being a lifeguard is about much more than watching a pool—it means being prepared to respond when someone needs help, and these four demonstrated exactly what that means.

On behalf of the Cudahy Fire Department, thank you for stepping up, taking action, and making a difference when it mattered most. We are proud to recognize you and the important role you played in this incident.

The Cudahy Fire Department was honored to take part in the end-of-year celebration and help send the school off with "One Last Roar" (and a shower) in support of the students, staff, and families who made Jones so special.
