“Speech, Flow, Go!” is an online after school program that will help alleviate new debaters’ fears around public speaking. Our goal is to teach and practice the basics of argumentation. If you’re a new debater or are interested in learning how to argue competitively, join our practices!

Open to all new, novice and rookie debaters in LAUSD.

This online course will be held every Thursday starting on September 16th – December 9th, 4:30-5:30pm PST.

Friends of ELC Debate:

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of Oscar Rosa - friend, mentor, teammate, coach, alumni, and, an integral part of the ELC Debate Team family.

Graduate of ELC’s Class of 2013, Oscar debated all 4 years in high school, and continued on to join CSUF’s award winning Forensics team.

Oscar continued to volunteer with ELC’s squad after graduating from Fullerton, and dedicated countless hours every week to give back to a team that he cared deeply for. He made a lasting impact, and our memories of him will last forever!

A caring, selfless, intelligent, cheerful, funny, kind, and compassionate soul. He will be missed by all.

We miss you already...
