REMINDER: Tonight is West Parent Night

You are cordially invited to attend Parent Night at West Elementary TONIGHT, September 3rd from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is an evening for you to get to know West Elementary and to learn about the curriculum your child will be exposed to this year. This is an evening for parents only and we request that children remain at home. This allows our staff the opportunity to meet you and explain some of the programs and activities your child will participate in this year. We have two classroom presentation sessions for Parent Night. This helps families with multiple students, and if one time slot fits better in your busy schedule. The first classroom presentation is from 6:30 -7:00 pm. The second classroom presentation is from 7:00 - 7:30. The teachers will present for about 20 minutes leaving the last ten minutes for questions and time to travel to your next classroom. For our 4th and 5th grade EC Students, parents can meet with Mr. Pinshower in his classroom from 6:00-6:25 pm for the EC Presentation. Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher if you have any questions.

ATTENDANCE & SCHOOL START TIMES

ATTENDANCE: Please continue to enter student absences in ParentVUE. For further details, please visit our website.

SCHOOL START TIME: Every minute of instructional time with students is valuable, and the school day begins when students enter the school doors. Students are expected to be at school in time for admittance into the building by 8:50 a.m. for elementary students and 7:40 a.m. for middle school students. Students arriving after these times will be considered tardy.
