This is actually a really bad deal for Kansas taxpayers. The Chiefs get to keep 100% of stadium revenue from events; the Chiefs will pay $700 million in "rent" that will fund an account for the Chiefs to use for stadium renovations, security, and other stadium related expenses; the Chiefs will pay no property taxes. How is this a good deal for the state, county, or municipality, or the taxpayers? This is a golden deal for the Chiefs ownership.

If Don DeWitte thinks this is a good deal and should guide Illinois' negotiation with the Bears, I am happy to have never voted for him. No taxpayer funding for private sports stadiums.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday that they have entered into an agreement with the state of Kansas to play their games there beginning in 2031.

So it turns out Democrat congressmen from Texas have fled to Chicago, Illinois to protest the unfair congressional districts being drawn in their state of Texas by the GOP. It of course makes perfect sense for them to come to Chicago, being a perfect example of "reasonable" congressional districts created by a Democrat majority state. Definitely no self serving going on in the map below.🙄

If you are tired of the lies, corruption, and outlandish hypocrisy of the Dems and GOP in Illinois, vote Libertarian!

No voter has? Of course, what's the point of marking your second or third choice when ballot access laws prevent you from having more than 2 choices anyway?

This is a disaster. Whoever runs for governor in 2026 must make Pritzker answer questions about DCFS in Illinois.

If one candidate breaks 50% as everyone’s top choice, the tallying ends. But absent a majority, whichever option has the fewest top-choice votes is eliminated, and any ballots listing the last-place finisher as the top choice get added to those voters’ second choice.
