As you may know by now, I was unsuccessful in winning the District 9 legislative seat. People said I was crazy to try this again, in an almost 3-1 District, but I do believe I would have served my community better. Local issues are not being addressed to our satisfaction and many people feel unheard.
I would like to thank all of the people who worked so hard on our campaign. My wife especially, her co-campaign manager Tom, Steve who designed everything, created apps, and the rest of the campaign staff. People were more engaged this time and many people helped in one way or another. Katie, Peter, and Ed thank you for all you did.
Thank you to my friends, family, and supporters and the voters who supported me, please stay engaged with local issues, speak out when you’re not being heard by your elected officials, and if it affects your safety, health or quality of life, take them to task.
Lastly I would like to thank Frank Catalina (Regina, Larry, Karen) for their support and camaraderie, Gina Arena (Jim) for the many phone calls and bouncing things around and Michael Grace (Mary) for all the meetings, support, get-togethers, phone calls. Francis and Sheila for organizing the group effort for all. Thank you to the local chairs, especially Bruce Bellom, who was in touch with me almost daily and keeping me informed on the peekskill happenings.
p.s. thank you to the people who let me know they looked for me and I wasn’t on the ballot! Many reports of that, because it was the wrong district!
