Earlier today, we accepted delivery of our new Polaris Ranger XP 1500 NorthStar Edition, now in service as UTV 54.

This unit is equipped with a fully enclosed crew cab with heat and A/C, a full Whelen emergency lighting package, and a Kimtek 85-gallon ultra-high-pressure skid unit with foam capabilities.

UTV 54 will give our crews the ability to respond more effectively in areas larger apparatus can’t easily access, including brush fires, severe weather incidents, medical calls, special events, and search operations.

This setup will be a great addition to the department and will serve the citizens of Crowley well.

Big thanks to MX4TX for coordinating the purchase and helping get the unit outfitted, and to Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. for handling the graphics package to match the rest of our fleet! 🚒

Starting Salary: $72,678.80 + FLSA overtime

*MAJOR ACCIDENT*

The Crowley Fire Department is responding to a major accident at the intersection of W. FM 1187 and Alconberry.

E54, M254, TK54, and BC54 are on scene and reporting 3 vehicles involved with heavy damage.

Please seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.

The Crowley Fire Department is on scene of a pediatric patient suffering from burn injuries on E Mission Street.

Air Medical has been requested to make scene and has been launched. Medic 54, Truck 54, and Battalion 54 are relocating to the landing zone with the patient.

North Hampton will be closed from Mustang to E. Hampton for the next 20-30 minutes. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

Update: Patient care has been transferred to CareFlite 1 crew and all units are available
